FAQs
What can I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit is designed to help us understand your concerns, goals, and health history. When you arrive, there will be a small amount of paperwork to complete before meeting with the doctor.
From there, the doctor will spend time discussing your concerns, answering questions, and performing a thorough examination to determine the best approach for your care.
If everything looks appropriate and there are no concerns that require further evaluation, the doctor may move forward with your first chiropractic adjustment during that visit.
We do not take X-rays in our office. If the doctor feels imaging is necessary, we will gladly provide a referral to the appropriate facility to ensure you receive the care you need.
Our goal is to make your first visit comfortable, informative, and personalized to your specific needs.
Do you accept my insurance
Although we are not currently in-network with insurance companies, we can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement, depending on your individual plan and benefits.
We accept cash, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards as payment options for eligible services. If you have questions about payment options or your benefits, our team is happy to help!
What conditions can chiropractic care help with?
Chiropractic care may help individuals experiencing a variety of musculoskeletal concerns, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint discomfort, sports injuries, muscle tension, and mobility restrictions.
At Newmyer Peak Performance Chiropractic, we work with patients of all ages and activity levels, including those dealing with issues such as auto accident injuries, whiplash, tennis elbow, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee discomfort, and other everyday aches and limitations.
We also provide specialized care for prenatal patients by using gentle techniques designed to support comfort and mobility throughout pregnancy. For infants and children, chiropractic care may be adapted to their specific needs, including concerns such as mobility restrictions and colic-related discomfort.
Every patient is different, which is why care is personalized based on your health history, goals, and individual needs. Our goal is to help you move better, function better, and support your body's ability to heal and perform at its best.
How often should I see a Chiropractor?
The frequency of visits depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to care. Some patients seek care for a specific injury, while others choose ongoing wellness care to maintain mobility and function.
